Moving from knowledge to action requires leadership, initiative, passion, and team work. NWF promotes action projects like those documented here as examples of teens working together to raise awareness of issues of concern in their school and their communities, while making meaningful connections between what is learned and what can be changed. Action students build new skills in analyzing issues, public speaking, marketing, and creativity. Students involved in Action Projects make a difference in their environment by implementing their own solutions – linking education with accomplishment.
